Foss Marai and the victory of Furio Benussi’s Sailing Team

On 8 October, the Gulf of Trieste hosted the Barcolana 55, the historic regatta that has seen professionals and sailing enthusiasts compete alongside each other since 1969. It is one of the sport’s most famous competitions and this year’s winners were Marta and Furio Benussi from the Fast and Furio Sailing Team. Father and daughter took turns at the helm of the maxi 100 Arca SGR to win the trophy for the second time. Presenting the award was 2022 winner, Wendy Schmidt, in the presence of the Italian Minister for Sport.

Foss Marai has been supporting the Fast and Furio Sailing Team for years and is proud to be able to celebrate their great win with them. These two extremely different concerns come together with the same passion and commitment, values that have allowed both to excel over the years.
